“We are pleased to report that the Remission Process is now well underway. All told, GCG has sent over 1.4 million e-mail notifications to Full Tilt Poker players and in response GCG has already received over 23,500 Petitions through the online filing system.” That was one-half of the latest update from the Garden City Group, which is orchestrating U.S. Full Tilt Poker cashouts. Visit FullTiltPokerClaims.com for more details.

The update came on October 1, about two weeks after the Full Tilt claims process began. In recent days, Garden City Group has been e-mailing affected players with petition numbers and control numbers. It has also been receiving documents in droves from players and fielding calls from members of the media like this author. According to the Group’s latest update, the process of e-mailing players is now complete.

Those who believe they’re due funds from the old Full Tilt, which vacated the U.S. market on Black Friday before being unmasked as a financial nightmare, should contact the Garden City Group if they failed to receive an e-mail.

The update explains, “If you did not receive an e-mail and you believe you are in Full Tilt’s database and should have been identified as a potentially eligible player, please contact us to provide your updated e-mail address and we will provide you with your petition and control numbers if you have been assigned them.”

The Group also plans to use snail mail to reach out to potential claimants: “To the extent GCG has been provided with physical mailing addresses, we will be sending postcards to Petitionerswhose e-mails were returned as undeliverable in the next few weeks.”

Some posters over on Two Plus Two had issues receiving e-mails from the Garden City Group altogether, with one poker player lamenting, “Still haven’t received an e-mail after requesting they send again 4-5 times. I even made a Gmail account and requested they send P&C #s there last week. Still nothing.” You can contact the Group with any issues you have by picking up the phone and dialing 866-250-2640.

Still unclear is whether players will receive 100% of their balances. If the total funds available exceed the funds requested, then players will be compensated in full. If the total funds available fall short of the amount requested, then players will receive a percentage on the dollar. The claims process closes November 16.
