aejones, luckychewy to Appear on 2 Months, $2 Million
This week on G4’s online poker reality show “2 Months, $2 Million,” a quartet of online poker players will challenge the cast, which includes Jay Rosenkrantz, Emil Patel, Brian Roberts, and PocketFives.com member Dani ansky451Stern. The group that will invade the Las Vegas home includes Aaron aejonesJones, Andrew luckychewy Lichtenberger, Starkey, and Zugwat. The half-hour show, the third in the 10-episode series, airs on Sunday night at 9:00pm ET on G4. PocketFives.com will have a full recap after it airs.
A preview posted on G4’s website explains, “The guys wage war on another team of online poker superstars. The two groups battle for money at the tables, for dominance on the field, and for women at the clubs. But with mounting distractions, have the guys lost sight of their ultimate goal?” One member of the rival faction dons a Deuces Cracked sweatshirt, while a friendly game of flag football turns ugly. In the club, one of the four newcomers shows Patel a thong and asks, “Hey Emil, what do these look like to you?”
Zugwat is a former champion of a $1,060 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event held during the 11th Full TiltOnline Poker Series (FTOPS). He banked $350,000 for his efforts in the high-stakes quarterly event. Zugwat has also taken down the PokerStarsNightly Hundred Grand twice. Similarly, Lichtenberger(pictured at left) owns a win in another marquee tournament series, the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). Lichtenberger won the inaugural mid-stakes Heads-Up SCOOP tournament for a cool $172,000 and finished 18th in the 2009 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event for $500,000.
On Monday, the day after the newest installment of “2 Months, $2 Million” airs, G4 will run a marathon of the first three episodes in case you missed them. We’ve seen a multitude of posts on PocketFives.com asking where recent episodes can be found, so now is a prime opportunity to catch up. The festivities start at 8:00pm ET on Monday night and run for 90 minutes. “2 Months, $2 Million” also replays periodically throughout the week on G4, so check your local listings for channel information.
Last week on the show, Stern(pictured at right) planned Lockdown Day after struggling during the first week, but ultimately dropped $30,000 in 12 hours and walked away from the tables. Meanwhile, Patel hired Stephanie Tuggle to be the group’s personal assistant; she was immediately met with two large bags of laundry. The Tilt Room made its debut and featured tarps on the walls and a baseball bat to smash objects like watermelons, garbage cans, and cheery-looking stuffed animals.
In the end, the team profited $162,900 during the second week, or $198,600 overall. As was the case during the first week, Stern was forced to undergo a “Penalty Stunt,” an embarrassing task that must be performed by the player with the worst showing financially. Stern sat outside Bally’s on the Las Vegas Strip and played a harp dressed as a fairy godmother. After collecting $20 in tips, he was free to go.
Catch an all-new “2 Months, $2 Million” Sunday at 9:00pm ET on G4.
