Over the last two days, the Garden City Group, the appointed Claims Administrator for Full Tilt Poker, has been sending out e-mails to players in the United States. Many have reported that the e-mails were relegated to spam folders, while others have received them with no issue. Whatever the case may be, an online remission petition is now available. You can discuss the form and its nuances in this PocketFives thread.

You can find the form at FullTiltPokerClaims.com. Just look on the left side of the screen for the link that says “File a Petition for Remission” and click it. If you’ve received an e-mail from the Garden City Group with a Petition Number and Control Number, here is the place to enter those two pieces of information. As the website explains, “You will be able to view your Full Tilt Account Balance only if you use the login credentials emailed to you in a Notice.”

Along with the Petition Number and Control Number, you’re asked to provide one of three forms of verification: last name, player ID, or zip code on file with Full Tilt.

If you didn’t get any correspondence from the Garden City Group, click on the bottom where it says “Create a New Petition.” You’ll be asked to provide your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, e-mail address associated with your Full Tilt account, player ID, social security number or tax ID number, and contact name.

Poker Players Alliance Vice President of Player Relations Rich TheEngineerMuny told PocketFives that, if in doubt, players should complete an online claims form: “If you didn’t get an e-mail, there’s still no reason not to file a new petition and at least have them review it. Don’t think that means it’s over and done with. It’s a relatively straightforward application process.”

Reports from players were varied, with some reporting that the Full Tilt account balance that Garden City had on-hand was higher than what they actually had in the poker room on Black Friday. Others were submitting bank records, spreadsheets, and documentation of their account balances.

Several players were experiencing issues with the Petition Number, with the solution being to add a zero at the front of it. Others were having difficulties loading the confirmation page. Tournament Dollars converted to cash seem to be accounted for.

According to Pokerfuse, “Early player reports indicate that Full Tilt Points and tournament tickets are not included in the balance total. Players who ‘panic withdrew’ on the day of Black Friday are reporting that thankfully these amounts are correctly accounted for in the balance. There are mixed reports on how the Garden City Group has dealt with ‘phantom’ deposits and unsuccessful withdrawals that occurred just prior to Black Friday.”

The remission process closes on November 16.
