A heads-up chop ended matters and saw Full Tilt Poker’s yadio1111walk away with $453,000, the largest cash of the tournament. Second place belonged to Ontario pokercommunity member cswami, who earned $413,000. The cash nearly doubled the value of the tracked scores we have for the Canuck, whose largest online MTT cash prior to Sunday was worth $23,000 and came after winning the PokerStars Big $109 in September.

Third place and a cash injection of $253,000 went to Russia’s Ti0. He’ll earn his $1 million cash badgeon PocketFives with his FTOPS XXI Main Event finish and plays on Full Tilt under the screen name AmplifiedSample. He is a former PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker event winner, having taken down a $530 No Limit Hold’em Cubed tournament this year for $182,000.

United Kingdom player Gerald Geraldo22Cochlan (pictured above) claimed fifth place and raked in $140,000 in the FTOPS XXI Main Event. He plays on Full Tilt under the handle Aberdonian85and is now just a few cashes away from recording $500,000 in tracked scores. We’ll be publishing an interview with him soon on our site.

There was a pretty lively thread in the Poker Community forumhere on PocketFives railing Cochlan, which included text from a conversation earlier in the day in which he said he might be going out for the night instead of playing the Main Event. He commented, “Flat-mate was on about maybe going out. Will see if I’m playing.” We’d say Cochlan made a wise decision to register.

Sixth place went to Sorel Imper1um Mizzi, who has nearly $5 million in live MTT tournament cashes to his name according to the Hendon Mob. Mizzi won the WPT Vienna High Roller Event earlier this year for $151,000. His largest live score was worth $659,000 and came after a third place showing in the 2010 Aussie Millions Main Event. Mizzi Tweeted when the final table was ongoing, “Wow, a rail consisting of legendary @MadMarvin is a rail indeed,” referring to poker pro Marvin Rettenmaier.

Another Russian made the final table of the FTOPS XXI Main Event, MAMOHT_T (pictured), who took seventh place and walked away with $65,000. He has over $1.3 million in tracked cashes on PokerStars, the largest of which came last month for $19,000 in the room’s $75,000 Guaranteed.
