The last time PocketFives featured an accomplishment from Ireland’s j.thaddeus(pictured), we received a pretty lively response. This week, we’re pleased to report that j.thaddeus has moved up to his highest position ever in the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings, #8 worldwide. He was up two spots on the week after cracking the top 10 last Wednesday.

InterPokerhas been securely dealing cards since 2002. The recently re-launched site offers a wide array of promotionslike $10 cash free for new players as well as a 25K race for SnG players. WSOP qualifiers are also running now. Check out the new and improved InterPoker.

On July 16, one day before the Rankings were recalculated, j.thaddeus showed up with a bang, finishing fourth in the PokerStars Super Tuesday and cashing for $38,000 officially. The score was worth a healthy 303 PLB Points, which should keep him climbing toward the top of the Rankings. On July 14, the Irish poker player won the Full Tilt Sunday Mulligan for $13,000, finished third in the PokerStars.fr Night on Stars for $6,400, and landed in second in the PokerStars Hotter $75 for $15,000.

Also climbing high this week was p0cket00, a former #1 player in the PocketFives Rankings. p0cket00 moved up from #14 worldwide to #7 and is currently the second ranked player in his home nation of Canada. He is fresh off a second place finish in the PokerStars $109 Cubed for $14,000 and is zeroing in on $6 million in tracked online MTT scores for his career, the fifth highest total ever.

Russia’s veeea rose from #58 worldwide to #27, one of the largest jumps of the week at 31 spots. veeea won the July 9 installment of the Super Tuesday and walked off with nearly $80,000 and a gargantuan 644 PLB Points. He is nearly at $2 million in tracked cashes over nearly 2,000 in the money finishes, about $1.3 million of which has come on PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site.

Climbing to his highest perch ever in the Rankings was Portugal’s Tacuara(pictured), who won his first Triple Crown earlier this month and was the runner-up in the PokerStars Big $162 on July 15 for $12,000 and 201 PLB Points. He is #3 in Portugal and #1 in his hometown of Lisboa.

Heading to South America now, we want to talk about Brazil’s FellipeNunes, who rose from #93 worldwide to #75, his highest position ever. You can follow him on Twitter at the handle @FelipeNunes and he won the PokerStars $215 Turbo in late June for $10,000, his most recent five-figure score. He is up to $1.4 million in lifetime tracked cashes and plays on Full Tilt Poker as PREDADOR-88 and on PartyPoker as FAN737.

Finally, another Brazilian entered the Poker Rankings this week, Santos’ dowghsantos, who debuted at #83. He final tabled the Full Tilt Super Sized Sunday on the last day of June for $10,000 and has $1.3 million in tracked scores. There are four Brazilians in the Online Poker Rankings who sit ahead of him.
