The newest installment of the PocketFives Online Poker Player Rankingswas released on Wednesday, and when the dust settled, a new #1 stood tall. His name is a familiar one, as he was last ranked #1 four weeks ago at the end of March: Cal cal42688 Anderson (pictured). He is enjoying his fourth stint at #1 on PocketFives.

Anderson had a rock solid last week. On April 21, he won the $215 Sunday Supersonic on PokerStarsfor $49,000 and amassed a healthy 525 PLB Points in the process. The total number of players was 1,310 and the final four also included fellow PocketFives member Chris Big Huni Hunichen.

The same day, Anderson took down the PokerStars $15,000 Guaranteed, a $44 No Limit Hold’em Turbo tournament, and banked $7,700 along with another 207 PLB Points. On April 20, he won the site’s $17,500 Guaranteed for $4,600 and 146 PLB Points.

As if all that winning weren’t enough, Anderson finished third in the PokerStars Saturday Super Knockout for $14,000 and 201 PLB Points, also on April 20. That $320 buy-in tournament brought out just shy of 1,000 players and the top 25 included three members of the top 100 on PocketFives.

J.D. jdpc27Wheeler (pictured) moved up two spots from #6 to #4, his highest mark ever in the Rankings. The Mexico poker community member took down the Full Tilt Saturday Six-Max for $13,000 on April 20, three days after he landed in fourth in the PokerStars Hot $75 for $4,700. On April 13, Wheeler drove to a runner-up finish in the Full Tilt $1K Saturday and scooped $30,000. The latter tournament had three members of the top 33 on PocketFives in the final four spots.

One of the biggest jumps in the top 100 of the week went to David weavel Emmons, who shot up 15 spots to #15 worldwide. He was formerly ranked as high as #2 and finished second in last weekend’s Sunday Mulligan for $18,000. The same day, he finished third in the PokerStars Sunday $100 Rebuy and cashed in for another $32,000. The two scores were worth about 500 PLB Points combined.

Rocketing from #88 worldwide to #46 this week, a jump of 42 spots, was longtime PocketFives member and author Jon PearlJammer Turner (pictured). He won the PokerStars $30,000 Guaranteed for $11,000 on April 16. The day before, Turner finished second in the PokerStars Big $55 for $12,000. On the 14th of the month, he emerged victorious in the PokerStars $215 Rebuy for $20,000. Turner is an American now living in Mexico.

One of the newest entrants to the PocketFives Rankings Top 100 this week is Uruguay’s rph. He won the PokerStars $109 Rebuy on April 16 for 13,000. Also this month, rph took down the PokerStars Bigger $162 for $43,000 and finished second in the Full Tilt Big Ben for $12,000.
