On Friday, two more Poker Masters Online events played out on partypoker. Samuel Vousden won Event #25 and Mark Davis took the trophy in Event #26.

Artur Martirosian continued his impressive series by adding a third-place finish in Event #25 to his list of results and he’s the frontrunner atop the Championship Leaderboard with just four events left.

Now, the Poker Masters Online heads into a big concluding weekend that features four events. On Saturday, the $25,500 buy-in Event #27: $1M Gtd [NLH, 8-Max] and $10,300 buy-in Event #28: $250K Gtd [NLH, 6-Max] take place. On Sunday, it’s the $51,000 buy-in Event #29: MAIN EVENT $2M Gtd [NLH, 8-Max] in addition to the $10,300 buy-in Event #30: $250K Gtd [NLH, 6-Max].

Vousden Wins Event #25 for $520,000

Several Finnish players have found success during the Poker Masters Online series, including Pauli Ayras winning two tournaments already. The latest Fin to enjoy a huge payday was Vousden, who finished in first place in Event #25: $1M Gtd [NLH, 8-Max] for $520,000.

Vousden topped a field of 64 entries. Finishing in second place was Wiktor Malinowski for $352,000 and then Martirosian placed third for $232,000. Martirosian now has eight cashes through Friday’s action and is atop the Championship Leaderboard with 957 points.

Pascal Lefrancois, who on Thursday won his second Poker Masters Online title this series, finished fourth for $144,000.

Davis Wins Event #26 for $284,653

In Event #26: $500K Gtd [NLH, 6-Max], Davis emerged victorious to win $284,653.46. It was Davis’ first cash of the series.

Davis beat Rob Lipkin in heads-up play, and then it was Malinowski, who finished second in the first event of the day, taking third in this one. Lefrancois and Timothy Adams also booked double cashes on Friday. After finishing fourth in Event #25, Lefrancois took fifth in Event #26. Adams finished fifth in Event #25 and then took 11th in Event #26. Adams now leads the way for most Poker Masters Online cashes during this series with 10.

Championship Standings

An entertaining aspect of the Poker Masters Online is the Championship Leaderboard Standings that are tracking the performances of players throughout the series. The goal is to determine an overall winner. Points are awarded based on finishing position in the events, and the overall champion will receive a $50,000 cash prize and be awarded the Poker Masters Purple Jacket.
