When you think of online poker powerhouses, Poland might not be the first country that comes to mind. However, Poland sits at #6 worldwide in the PocketFives Country Poker Rankingsbetween Russia and Denmark and has a combined PLB score of its top 20 players of 87,584. The nation is the owner of five online poker Triple Crowns and home to six of the top 100 ranked players.

As it stands right now, here is a list of the top 10 ranked players in Poland along with a nugget of information about each of their accomplishments. Each week, PocketFives will highlight a new country. In the meantime, let’s say hello to the top ranked players from the European country of Poland.

10. Bianconero12– Hailing from Katowice, Bianconero12 has over $600,000 in lifetime online MTT scores, the largest of which was officially worth $81,000 and came following a win in the PokerStars Sunday 500 in December. This year, the he was second in a $255 tournament on Ongame for his second largest tracked score to date of $12,000.

9. TryToExploit – He is top dog in Podkarpackie and sits at #295 worldwide in the Rankings. TryToExploit won a No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Turbo during the EPT’s stop in San Remo late last year and is fresh off a second place finish in the PokerStars Big $162 in mid-February for $17,000.

8. Andrzejeczek – The Warsaw resident is coming off a win in the PokerStars Sunday 500 for $100,000 following a heads-up chop. He had a pair of WCOOP final tables last year that were worth a combined $86,000, about the same amount he earned for final tabling the Sunday Million in June 2012.

7. sosick– He has over $1.5 million in tracked scores in his PocketFives profile and is ranked #165 worldwide. Last December in a feature article, sosick told us that he wants to be a “Polish moorman1.” He has the largest single tracked cash among members of the Poland poker community at over a half-million dollars.

6. Raaadzio91 – Raaadzio91 hails from Niepolomice and won a $320 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max Shootout last year during the WCOOP for $62,000. Just a few days before, the Polish player was third in the PokerStars Super Tuesday for $50,000. He also has final tables in the PokerStars Sunday 500 and Sunday Second Chance, just to name a few.

5. Olorion – He is the Table Captain in Poland with 19 Wall Posts on our Poland Local page and has $1.1 million in tracked cashes. He final tabled the Full Tilt $500,000 Guaranteed in January for $35,000 and has been a member of PocketFives since 2009.

4. CU at 69USD SnG– Another Polish player with whom PocketFives recently conducted a feature interview. He is from Lublin, is ranked #68 worldwide, and is just a few days removed from winning the Full Tilt Double Deuce for $22,000. In January, he took down the same site’s $500,000 Guaranteed for $80,000.

3. Sekwens – He plays as MilanRabsz on PokerStars and final tabled a WCOOP event last year for $80,000. In the last five months, Sekwens has taken down the PokerStars Big $109, Big $162, Hot $55, and $100 Rebuy.

2. Pyszalek – He is one of only two Polish PocketFivers with over 6,000 PLB Points. Pyszalek has $2.1 million in tracked online MTT earnings, the most of any Polish player, and final tabled a $2,100 SCOOP event last year for $80,000.

And the top player in all of Poland is…

1. dadowiec – This Poznan native has $1.7 million in lifetime online MTT cashes, the vast majority of which have come on PokerStars. He is ranked #9 worldwide and recently won the PokerStars Sunday Storm to pad his bankroll by $33,000.
