Andrew Lichtenberger Claims Title as ‘Trekker’ Reaches Another Final Table

The latest PokerGO Tour title went the way of Andrew ‘Chewy’ Lichtenberger, as ‘Trekker’, a.k.a. PokerStake seller Victoria Livschitz reached yet another final table on the tour. The penultimate event of the PGT Sprint series saw ‘Chewy’ win at a final table that also included PokerStake seller Brandon Wilson, who finished fourth for $60,000.
Brock Wilson Bubbles
One Wilson would fly high, but the other missed out on the money in the most painful way possible – on the bubble. PokerStake seller Brock Wilson has enjoyed one of the best years of his poker career to date, but with 60 total entries in the event, only nine players got paid. With 10 left, Brock called off his stack correctly with
but Andrew Lichtenberger’s
got lucky across the eight-high board, pairing his three to take out one of the most dangerous opponents he faced at the felt.
Nicholas Schulte had bubbled a previous event in the series but scraped into the money, only to be ousted by a PokerStake player in Victoria Livschitz. At her second consecutive final table, ‘Trekker’ had
and with Schulte only holding
, neither player catching a pair only meant Victoria’s kicker played, sending Schulte home with $18,000.
Out for $24,400 in eighth place, Neil Warren lost out with the better hand to Dylan Linde to bust. Soon, he was followed from the felt by Daniyal Gheba, as the Las Vegas local cashed for the same amount in seventh place. All-in with pocket fours, Gheba lost the final coinflip of his event, as Jesse Lonis’
rivered a flush to reduce the field to half a dozen hopefuls.

PokerStakers Take Their Leave
With six players left, Lonis led the field by a huge margin, with his stack of 2.8 million chips dwarfing even his closest challenger, the eventual champion Lichtenberger on 1.32m. Everyone else was much shorter and it was Victoria Livschitz who paid the price. All-in with pocket deuces pre-flop, she lost to Lonis’
when Chewy hit an ace on the turn and the two Octopi Poker co-creators were finally separated, as Victoria went home with $33,000 in sixth place.
Next to go was another regular PokerStake seller in Dylan Linde, who busted in fifth place for $45,000. All-in with
after pairing his six on the flop, Dylan was crushed by Alex Foxen’s pocket queens, and they held through turn and river to send Dylan to the rail and strengthen Foxen’s own chances of a deep run.
As Foxen took the lead and ran with it, PokerStake seller Brandon Wilson (below) crashed out in fourth place for $60,000. Raise-calling off his stack with
, Wilson started and finished his final hand behind Foxen’s
, as an ace in the window gave Foxen top pair and he held to send play three-handed.

Chewy Takes the Title
Foxen was looking unstoppable, and that trend continued with the exit of Jesse Lonis in third place for $84,000. Three-betting all-in pre-flop with
, he was flipping for his tournament life against the
of Foxen. No help came to save Lonis, and Foxen piled up 6.8 million chips to Chewy’s stack of just 700,000.
A 10:1 chip lead heads-up might have led to a quick finish, but the duel was anything but. Chewy’s doubled up against the odds with queen-six before pocket queens then had the same effect, reducing Chewy’s arrears to him having just half of Foxen’s stack. After a board of

landed, a river bet of 360,000 from Chewy into a raised pot pre-flop yielded a fold from Foxen and the lead changed hands.
Despite both men having momentum at different times, Chewy eventually took the title when his leading stack prompted him to shove with
. Foxen called with
as he hoped to double right back into contention but a king on the flop and no other drama instead have Chewy the most improbable of victories from 10:1 down in chips. Claiming $192,000 up top, Chewy’s triumph was worth considerably more than Foxen’s runner-up prize of $120,000.
