For 10 straight weeks Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2‘ held down the #1 spot on the PocketFives Rankings and fought off all of those who came calling for the crown. The one constant with the PocketFives Rankings the past 10 weeks has been the name at the top and the frequency at which the name in the #2 spot has changed. For… Continue reading Rankings: ‘C Darwin2’ Still #1 with Fellow Swede ’lena900’ Up to #2

On February 10, Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2‘ ascended to the top of the PocketFives Rankings for the first time. He held down the #1 spot in the world for seven weeks before relinquishing his throne to fellow Swede ‘lena900‘ on March 30.

For the second time in his career, Brazil’s Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simao is the #1 player in the PocketFives Rankings. He moved up one spot this week to wrestle the title away from Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2‘, who can now be found at #2.

It took all of one week for Sweden’s ‘C Darwin2‘ to retake the top spot in the PocketFives Online Poker Rankings. After a one-week reign at #1 by Brazil’s ‘joaosimaobh‘, the title of top online poker player in the world went back across the Atlantic to Sweden.

With 3,180 PLB Points, Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simao from Brazil, who hit #1 worldwide a few days ago, won the April Monthly PocketFives Leaderboard (MPLB). This is his first MPLB win and the sixth all-time for Brazil.

There’s a brand new #1 player in the PocketFives Rankings. For the second time in his career, Brazil’s Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simaohas claimed the top spot. His first time as the #1-ranked player was in January 2015 and he is one of only two Brazilians to top the leaderboard.

There are six Swedes in the top 20 of the PocketFives Rankings. And when one Swede falls out of the top spot worldwide, another swoops in to take his place. That’s exactly what happened this week.

872.35 PLB Points. That’s how many Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simao received for taking down the PokerStars Mountain Series Denali event over the weekend. The Brazilian earned $167,000 officially for the win in the $1,050 Pot Limit Omaha Six-Max Rebuy and was one of many players to score big in the last week.
