Which Four PokerStake Players are Taking on the Wynn Signature Series?

The Wynn Las Vegas is about to host its famous Signature Series between August 21 and September 7. With the $1,100-entry No Limit Hold’em Main Event having a $400,000 guarantee, the series as a whole will create big winners with very manageable buy-ins on offer for all. Four of the players taking on the tournaments come from the PokerStake stable, and we’ve got a full preview of their packages on sale and why you should invest in their action.
Chainsaw Back in the U.S.A.
After a hugely successful trip to the Far East, Allen Kessler is back in America and ready to win on home soil, selling to a bumper number of events in Las Vegas. Allen, who cashed seven times at the recent World Series of Poker and three times in South Korea at the start of the month, has mastered the mixed games recently.
Back in Sin City, Allen will be selling at a markup of 1.20 throughout, with action on sale to the Mixed Triple Draw, two T.O.R.S.E. events and the Big O event. All of those events cost $600 to play, and Allen – who has won four WSOP Circuit rings – will be confident of a very deep run, with his last four cashes all coming from final table appearances.
In the $600-entry Mixed Games R.O.E. Championship at the Orleans Summer Open in Las Vegas, Allen came seventh for a score of $6,475, before finishing 6th, 5th and 3rd in South Korea for over $6,100. These levels of consistency and his application and dedication to mixed games mean Allen is our prime pick for the Wynn Signature Series overall.
Chang Sure to Challenge
Also guaranteed to put up a big fight in mixed games is Kathy Chang. The PokerStake player, who is selling to three events, each costing $600, is another great mixed game player. With all three of her events on offer at 1.10m Kathy is playing the Limit O8 event, the H.O.R.S.E. event and takes Allen and others on in the T.O.R.S.E. too.
The South Korean-American has cashed six times since the start of June, raking in over $8,750 in events that cost a total of $2,340. Kathy’s love of mixed games comes from a mentorship she enjoyed with ‘Miami John’ Cernuto, who both inspired her to start playing mixed games and coached her in them too.
Miami John was a big fan of Kathy’s and it’s not hard to see why, with Kathy’s infectious enthusiasm stretching to every area of her life. As she tells her many followers online, “Be a winner in life, poker is just a bonus.” These days, Kathy has no trouble winning at both – Miami John would be very proud.
Lipiner Leads Hopes
Jason Lipiner’s recent record is the envy of many poker players. In the last two months, Jason has won over $34,000 and all in mixed game formats. In June, Jason came close to winning the bracelet in the 56th annual WSOP’s $1,500 buy-in Razz Event #43. Coming sixth for a score of $20,438 when Shaun Deeb and Allan Le ended up battling it out heads-up for the gold is some achievement.
Jason enjoyed another deep run in the $1,500 Mixed Games: Eight Game 6-Max Mix Event #73 at the 2025 WSOP, finishing 35th out of 789 entries for $5,285. Further events around Las Vegas last summer at venues such as the MGM Grand, Golden Nugget and of course the Horseshoe and Paris casinos confirm Lipiner as something of a Sin City crusher in mixed games.
Selling to Mixed Triple Draw, T.O.R.S.E., H.O.R.S.E., Limit O8, and even the No Limit Hold’em events on offer at a markup of between 1.13 and 1.15, Jason represents a great opportunity to back a player in form who will want to close out his next final table as a matter of desperation.
Judy Punching High
Another NLHE lover who is hoping to punch at her weight and above it is Judy Bielan. With over $1.1 million in live poker tournament earnings, Judy spent the summer winning in events such as the Venetian DeepStack Championship Poker Series, the Wynn Casino Recurring Tournaments, Harrah’s Pompano Park Tournaments and the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.
With an incredible 11 cashes in the past six weeks, Judy’s resolute poker performances have earned her over $23,000 in that time, an amount that if you take that from six weeks to 52 would net her a total annual poker salary of $200,000. Even with the Big Beautiful Bill still being threatened, that’s big bucks.
Selling at a markup of 1.05 to two No Limit Hold’em events at present, Judy is as close to a sure bet as its likely to get at those stakes and with that low markup. If you want to invest in her or any of the other PokerStake players taking on the Wynn Signature Series in Las Vegas this coming fortnight, get involved via the official staking page right here.
